The Feed Water Hater is installed to
enhance the efficiency of its process by increasing the temperature
of the Feed water in the Boiler of the Steam Generation Boiler
System. Its heating medium, extraction stream is inserted and
makes the Feed water flow into the Channel side of U-tube type.
According to relatively different pressures in the process,
the Feed Water Heaters are classified into Low Pressure Feed
Water Heater (L.P. Heater), and High Pressure Feed Water Heater
(H.P. Heater). According to internal structures, it is divided
into Single-zone type, 2-zone type and 3-zone type.
This Feed Water Heater with a partly different structure compared
with the Tubular heat exchanger is designed and manufactured
in accordance with HEI (Heat Exchanger Institute) Standards
rather than TEMA (Standards of the Tubular Exchanger Manufacturers
Association).
